Jake Gets Diabetes app for iPhone and iPad

Using young dogs as characters, this book introduces the general symptoms and onset of Type I diabetes. In a playful way, young children can make the connection between their own diabetes and diabetes in animals. The story ends happy when Jake receives insulin, feels well again, and is able to play with his friends.
Many of the pages have an optional “Paint Me” feature for children to finger paint the pages and create their own custom version of the book.
